Fron Lutheran Church Starbuck
Thursday, June 22nd-Touring the Starbuck Depot and Lefse Hall of Fame. Lunch at the depot followed by a tour of the Pope County Museum in Glenwood. Join us for an evening of food, fun, and visiting at the Rolling Forks Winery.
Friday, June 23rd– Our genealogy room will be open hosted by our genealogists who can help you research your family tree. Throughout the day hear from our speakers: Theresa Nelson “Peder’s Story” focusing on the early Norwegian settlers of Pope County, Rich Anderson is one our local woodcarvers, Judy Weiss will share a rosemaling class, and David Engen will entertain us with his experiences on Alt for Norge. A lunch and banquet will be held at Fron Lutheran Church.
Saturday, June 24th–Ann Ogdahl Grandy will share her information and techniques “From Sheep to Socks”. Irene Starck will speak on the “Norway Resistance in WWII”. Miranda Moen Fadness will share a presentation on Valdres Architecture. We will close the afternoon with Judy Weiss’s Rosmaling presentation. Lunch will also be served at Fron Church on Saturday.
