Starbuck’s Historic Hospital – 1899 to 2013

The first Starbuck Hospital was built in 1899 and at that one time in Pope County history it was the only hospital between Minneapolis and Fargo N.D.  The building was placed on the National Historical Register in 1982 and in 2001 was placed on the Preservation Alliances list of the 10 Most Endangered Historical Properties in Minnesota.  In 2013 it was decided to demolish the building because safety issues. You may visit the historic site at Wollan St and 5th St in downtown Starbuck.
